Our Mission

The mission of Quarrymen's Arts Centre (owned by Creetown Building Preservation Trust) is to preserve our historic 19th century building and provide access to arts, cultural, and social opportunities that will support and enhance the health, well-being, creative skills, and quality of life in our community and the Dumfries & Galloway region.

We are proud of our legacy as the home of the Creetown Silver Band, a band first established by local quarry workers in 1880 as a way to bring music to the local community. Our mission as a community-led arts centre follows in their footsteps.
