Book Launch at the Quarrymen's

Saturday, March 2, 2pm.

Free event, with refreshments. Books available for purchase.

Everyone is invited to celebrate the launch of Mick MacLeod's new book featuring the history of Creetown: "Creetown's Industrial Era and Significant Persons."

Mick's book takes us across three centuries - from the birth of Creetown as a new place of opportunity to its peak as the most industrious village in Scotland, drawing itinerant workers from near and far, and continuing into an era of declining industries and a new purpose. Along the way we meet some extraordinary characters and local legends who shaped the village as we know it today.

Craft Tables Available

Craft tables (£10) are available for the Quarrymen's Easter 2024 Craft Show to be held on Saturday, March 30 from 10 - 3. They are going fast.
